ABOUT CHIROPRACTIC

WHAT IS CHIROPRACTIC CARE?

Chiropractic care is more than just the treatment of pain (although we are very good at doing this). Chiropractic care focuses on:

  • The improvement and maintenance of your health

  • Improving function and movement

  • Preventing ill-health from occurring

  • Promoting the proper function of your nervous system

  • Reducing pain and symptoms

We do this by performing adjustments to subluxations in the spine and other areas of the body.

WHAT IS A SUBLUXATION?

These are areas within the body (predominantly the spine) which cause interference within our nervous system meaning your brain and body can’t communicate effectively. When we have subluxations we often have associated with them:

  • Structural distortion

  • Muscle tension

  • Reduced joint movement

  • Increased pain or other symptoms

When we adjust these subluxations in the body, we have a direct impact on the nervous system allowing your body to function more effectively. This means we help improve movement, restore proper function, reduce pain and symptoms and promote health.
